Practioner-led EAP & psychosocial risk support
Psychosocial risk.
Held properly.
Practitioner-led EAP, leadership consultation and psychosocial risk support for organisations seeking more than a standard counselling referral service.
When workplace difficulty becomes human difficulty
Organisations do not only need support when an employee requests counselling. They may need guidance when conflict escalates, when a manager is unsure how to respond, when distress enters the workplace, or when psychosocial risk begins to affect people, teams and decision-making.
01
Identify

02
Prevent
Support leaders and managers to respond earlier, communicate clearly and reduce avoidable escalation.
03
Respond
Provide counselling containment, leadership consultation and practitioner-led support when situations become complex.

Deliberately limited.
Personally held.
Lion Workplace works with a limited number of organisations so that support remains responsive, relational and informed by a genuine understanding of each workplace context.
When difficult situations arise, you are not simply referring an employee into a system. You have access to a practitioner who understands the organisation, the leadership context and the human complexity involved.

Practioner-led support
Led by Darren Singh
Psychosocial risk rarely appears as a neat policy issue. It tends to emerge through conflict, distress, withdrawal, aggression, fractured team relationships, overwhelmed managers and situations where personal suffering begins to affect organisational functioning.
Drawing on more than a decade of work across complex human behaviour, trauma, family systems and workplace distress, Darren Singh brings clinical depth and organisational judgement to those moments — helping leaders identify what is emerging, contain what is escalating and respond with clarity, proportion and care.
Common questions
What does Lion Workplace provide?
Lion Workplace provides practitioner-led EAP counselling, manager and executive consultation, psychosocial risk support, critical incident response, workplace training and broader organisational consultation where complex people, risk and leadership issues intersect.
Is employee counselling confidential?
Yes. Employee counselling is confidential, subject to standard professional and legal limits such as serious risk of harm or other mandatory disclosure requirements. Organisational reporting can be structured without disclosing private clinical material.
How is Lion Workplace different from a traditional EAP?
Lion Workplace is designed as a limited-client, high-touch service. Organisations are supported by a practitioner who understands their context, rather than relying only on access to anonymous counselling sessions.
Can support be provided virtually?
Yes. Counselling and consultation can be provided virtually, allowing support for organisations and employees across Queensland and, where appropriate, nationally.
Does Lion Workplace provide legal or WHS compliance advice?
Lion Workplace provides clinical and organisational support relating to psychosocial risk and workplace difficulty. It does not replace legal advice or formal work health and safety compliance advice where these are required.
How does an organisation begin?
The first step is a confidential conversation about your organisation, its pressures and the kind of support required. From there, an appropriate engagement structure can be discussed.

Begin with a confidential conversation
Every organisation carries different pressures, risks and responsibilities. Begin with a confidential conversation about what is emerging, what requires support and what an appropriate response may look like.
